A colleague of mine is raising funds for a film about Jim Stirling'sLeicester Engineering Building (1963). Called MORE THAN a Building? Architecture on Trial, the film promises to be a detailed look at Stirling's iconic building. Director Joseph Bedford has already amassed over 40 interviews for this film from critics, scholars, and architects. Bedford's film is related to an upcoming exhibition on Stirling set to open April 1 at the Architecture Foundation— funds will go towards the completion of this project. (This, of course, does not excuse you from checking out the Canadian Center for Architecture's site dedicated to the James Stirling/Michael Wilford archive.)
